Imminentes

At the Théâtre National de Nice "La Cuisine," the performance "Imminentes" brings to life six powerful women—sovereigns, witches, goddesses, and nymphs—whose whispered voices rise into fierce roars. Created by Jann Gallois, this piece stands as a stronghold against destruction, hatred, and violence in our times. Known for blending hip-hop with contemporary dance, Gallois crafts a luminous work driven by a collective energy that sweeps the audience like a tidal wave. Inspired by Anne Dufourmantelle's "Puissance de la douceur," the choreography unfolds through shifting breaths, rhythms, and intensities, with movements weaving in and out amongst the dancers in a hypnotic and transcendent dance.
