The Little Boy with a Bird's Shadow

In Nice’s Salle des Franciscains, discover the poignant tale of Abezou’ch, a young boy living with his grandmother Gazella on the edge of the desert. After his family moves to the city, Abezou’ch is left alone, burdened with sorrow. One day, he realizes his shadow takes the shape of a bird. Initially frightened, he tries to hide it, but as night falls, the bird-shadow grows stronger and eventually begins to fly. This delicate and imaginative theatre production, crafted by Anne Sibran at the request of Muriel Mayette-Holtz, explores themes of mystery and transformation through shadow play and silhouette artistry, designed specifically to engage young audiences.
