The Little Boy with a Bird's Shadow

Set in a remote desert, this tender theatre production by Théâtre National de Nice tells the story of Abezou’ch, a young boy living with his grandmother Gazella after his family has moved to the city. Overwhelmed by loneliness, Abezou’ch discovers that his shadow takes the shape of a bird. Initially frightened, he tries to hide it, but as night falls, the bird's shadow grows stronger and one night it begins to fly. Directed by Muriel Mayette-Holtz and written by Anne Sibran, this play for young audiences explores themes of mystery and imagination through evocative shadow play and delicate silhouettes. The performance takes place at SALLE DES FRANCISCAINS in Nice.
