The Little Boy with a Bird's Shadow

Set in the remote desert, this theatrical production tells the story of Abezou'ch, a young boy living alone with his grandmother Gazella after his family has moved to the city. Overcome with loneliness, Abezou'ch discovers that his shadow takes the form of a bird. Initially frightened, he tries to hide it, but as night falls, the bird's shadow grows stronger and one night it begins to fly. Crafted for young audiences by Anne Sibran and directed by Muriel Mayette-Holtz, this play combines delicate shadow play and silhouette artistry to evoke mystery and emotion. The performance takes place at the Salle des Franciscains in Nice.
