Things to Do in Antibes

Antibes wears its history on its ramparts — a fortified old town built by the Greeks and rebuilt by Vauban, wrapped around a harbour that once sheltered Picasso, who painted some of his most joyful work here in what's now the Musée Picasso. The daily Marché Provençal is one of the best food markets on the coast.

Just around the cape, Juan-les-Pins adds a livelier side with its jazz festival and beach clubs, while Cap d'Antibes offers some of the Riviera's most scenic coastal walks. Between the old town's galleries and the modern marina's restaurants, Antibes rewards slow exploring.
