Things to Do in Monaco

Barely two square kilometres, Monaco packs in more glamour per acre than almost anywhere on earth. The Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Prince's Palace anchor a principality built on hairpin turns and clifftop terraces, and for one weekend each May, its streets become the Monaco Grand Prix circuit — one of Formula 1's most demanding races.

When the engines are quiet, Monaco offers world-class exhibitions, the Oceanographic Museum's aquarium, and a harbour lined with some of the largest yachts afloat. It's an easy day trip from Nice or Menton, and a natural stop on any tour of the eastern Riviera.
