Le Château des Carpathes

Le Château des Carpathes brings Jules Verne's gothic tale to the stage at Théâtre National de Nice "La Cuisine". The story follows Franz de Telek as he ventures into a mysterious Transylvanian village overshadowed by a haunted castle. As both Telek and Baron de Gortz become captivated by the opera singer Stilla, the line between reality and the supernatural blurs. Directed by Émilie Capliez, the production features jazz-inspired music composed by Airelle Besson, a cast of actors, a vocalist, and three musicians, creating a vivid theatrical experience.
