About this event
Les Résistantes is a participatory theatre event at Théâtre National de Nice "La Cuisine" that spotlights three remarkable women of the French Resistance: Geneviève de Gaulle, Mila Racine, and Lucie Aubrac. Inspired by the original France Inter podcast by Philippe Collin and conceived by Violaine Ballet, Charles Berling, and Philippe Collin, the production blends radio and stage performance to explore the crucial yet often overlooked role of women in the Resistance from 1940 to 1944. Audiences are invited into a dynamic, immersive experience that includes discussions, debates, music, and contributions from a historian, illustrator, and choir. The show encourages reflection on history and collective memory, welcoming those aged 13 and above.
