Magistral.e.s

Staged at SALLE DES FRANCISCAINS in Nice, Magistral.e.s is a powerful theatre piece inspired by a landmark legal trial that shaped France’s laws on consent for minors. Directed and written by Alexandra Cismondi, the play blends courtroom drama with immersive storytelling, as actors and audience explore themes of justice, responsibility, and the collective struggle of women—mothers, survivors, and advocates. Through a surreal, imagined tribunal, the performance challenges perceptions around consent and societal accountability, inviting participants to reflect on pressing questions of law and morality. The cast includes Marie-Sohna Condé, Noémie Gantier, Elio Massignat, Mélodie Richard, and Crystal Shepherd-Cross, with evocative stage design and sound.
