About this event
Staged at SALLE DES FRANCISCAINS in Nice, Thélonius & Lola is a theatrical fable written by Serge Kribus. The story follows a young girl, Lola, who befriends Thélonius, a collarless dog with a talent for singing and philosophizing in multiple 'languages.' When a new law threatens the dog's place in society, the play explores themes of difference, exclusion, and empathy. Mixing humor and poetry, the production invites audiences of all ages to reflect on acceptance and the power of curiosity and kindness. Directed by Agnès Régolo and brought to life by Ligia Aranda Martinez and Antoine Laudet, the show blends live performance with creative sound and set design, making it a vibrant experience for children from age 7 and up.
