Zone d'Attente

Zone d'Attente, directed by Macha Makeïeff, takes the stage at Théâtre National de Nice "La Cuisine" in Nice. Known for her inventive approach, Makeïeff brings together six performers for a lively and tragicomic journey blending humor, slapstick, and pantomime. Set in an ambiguous, isolated space filled with strange sounds, the play follows a group of quirky characters with hidden secrets as they face mishaps while the threat of disaster looms outside. Inspired by classic slapstick, Makeïeff's new creation explores human awkwardness in an unpredictable world, mixing dance, song, and expressive physicality in a unique theatrical experience.
